All about narcissistic abuse and how to escape
Narcissism is an evil that masquerades as good. Like a Pied Piper this master illusionist can lead you to Hell all while making you feel flattered to be chosen to go there. Only when you wake up in Hell do you realize the real evil that existed in his fluted song. By then it’s too late; not only have you fallen victim, but most likely you have paid for the flute, as well. Tigress Luv

- Sometimes to find yourself, you must first lose yourself. Lose yourself in nature 💖 …

i’m confused now and worried. Maybe I have narcissistic personality disorder? I read this in the Jeni Mawter article:
As a child, a healthy self-esteem (true self) did not develop in the narcissist so they built up defences to create a ‘false self’ in public. This is akin to wearing a public mask. Wearing the mask is not only emotionally exhausting, it also means that the narcissist is constantly on guard at being found out.
This is exactly how I feel, all the time. Even writing this on your blog is narcissistic. I should stop. But I’m still confused about what to do.
It’s common for people who have experienced narcissistic abuse to question themselves.
The truth is: everyone is narcissistic but not to the point of disorder. There are two defining characteristics:
– Feeling empathy for other people
– Having a conscience.
A narcissist is numb, they don’t have either of these traits. And least of all would they get help, seek advice or self diagnose with NPD – because it doesn’t fit with their ideals of themselves.
I hope this has put your mind at ease. Thank you for your comment.
Phew! well yes, I guess I’m off the hook. Thanks, and that was a very well thought out answer!
